KATHRYN GRIMM is an award-winning recording artist with a very colorful career in Performing (too many bands to count), Academia (GIT; BA Jazz Studies; MA Commercial Music), Teaching (Cal State Los Angeles, Laurel Canyon Studios), Producing ("GRIMM AGAIN", Burnside Distribution Official Grammy Ballot "Best Song", "Best Electric Blues Artist") and Songwriting (Los Angeles Music Awards - "Best Song", "Best Video"). Very few artists can say they’ve worked with Bo Diddley, Michael Bolton and Jeff Buckley ("I'm weirdly diverse"). Kathryn crossed paths with many influential people during her time in Los Angeles (Quincy Jones, Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell). "I've been blessed to meet and mingle with my muses" who have inspired her to keep moving forward.

Her skills as a multi-instrumentalist stood out when she relocated to Portland Oregon and she began backing up several artists as a guitarist, bassist and singer in addition to performing with her eclectic projects - her Original Electric Blues / Rock / Jazz band, "THE KATHRYN GRIMM BAND (KGB)"; her Jazz Duet, "THE JAZZ ROCKETS" and her part-time Psycho-delic brainchild "HIPPIE LOVE SLAVE" with several loyal, honorary members.
